Water Supply and Sanitation Collaboration Council (WSSCC)

• The WSSCC is a leading international organization that enhances collaboration in the water supply and sanitation sector, specifically in order to attain universal coverage of water and sanitation services for poor people around the world. WSSCC is really a cross between a professional association and an international NGO. It operates with a mandate from the United National General Assembly.
The mission of the Council is "to accelerate the achievement of sustainable water, sanitation and waste management services to all people, with special attention to the unserved poor, by enhancing collaboration among developing countries and external support agencies and through concerted action programmes".
