The president of Mogi Guacu River Basin
Committee, Mr. Joao Alborgheti, is going to make a speech about
the water resources scarcity in this very important watershed of
the state of Sao Paulo where about 1,200,000 people are living.
Following this speech there will be a conference about legal aspects
of water resources by the lawyer Dr. Luiz Carlos Aceti Junior. The
event will be at Centro Regional Universitario de Espirito Santo
do Pinhal (CREUPI). The organization and coordination have been
performed by Environmental Engineering Course of CREUPI. |

En conjunto con 30 ninos de la escuela
Guedes de Azevedo y la Policia Ambiental, el Instituto Ambiental
Vidagua bajara por el rio Batalha desde la ciudad de Avai hasta
Pongai, num total de 120 km, haciendo testes de calidad del agua,
plantando arboles de especies nativas y haciendo talleres de fotografia
con latas de aluminio. La expedicion, que empieza en 25 de marzo,
tiene prevision de llegada en 27 de marzo. |
