Description:	NGO Forum for Drinking Water Supply & Sanitation is a national non-government oragnization. Description:	Annual event to discuss current issues in water and sanitation, and to promote the annual WWD theme. Organized by Department of Public Health Engineering, NGO Forum for Water Supply and Sanitation and WHO. This year special emphasis on the promotion of good practice in rainwater harvesting. Also as an alternative source for arsenic contaminated water. BAEC will be involved to present 2001 interlaboratory comparison study on arsenic analytical capacity, supported by IAEA and WHO.

Description:	All schools in Bhutan will observe WWD 2002 in ways they find appropiate. PHES, in colloboration with Comphrensive school health programme, will provide limited funds where requested from the schools. PHES in colloboration with Bhutan Water Partnership will also observe the WWD 2002 at national level in Thimphu( Capital city) with dignitries from the Royal Government and International organisations based in Thimphu.
